We Have Two Centralized Locations
While many orthodontic practices have offices spread out over several cities, counties and even states, we have two centrally-located orthodontic offices in Fairfield and Norwalk, CT. This helps our patients gain easy access to the orthodontic treatment they need.

Sterilization
We always adhere to the strict guidelines for bacterial control and sterilization set forth by the CDC and OSHA. We use disposable tools and materials whenever possible and what tools must be re-used are always thoroughly cleaned and sterilized between patients.

Retention
The day your braces come off is when you start the retention phase of your treatment. Because we want you to enjoy your great new smile for a lifetime, the cost of a retention system is included with your orthodontic treatment.

    Dr. Alyssa Patterson

    Dr. Alyssa Patterson graduated with honors from the University of Maryland. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and her Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Orthodontics from Virginia Commonwealth University. She also has her Master of Arts in Science and Dental Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, as part of a dual degree program with dental school. 

    Her favorite part about being an orthodontist is working with patients to understand their concerns and helping them gain a smile they can feel confident in, whether it be through traditional braces or Invisalign! She enjoys working with both children and adults.

    Outside of work, Dr. Patterson enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants and playing tennis.

    Dr. Brijesh P. Chandwani , DMD, BDS, FOP

    Brijesh Chandwani is board certified in Orofacial Pain and he focuses on management of complex facial pain disorders in New York and Connecticut. Dr. Chandwani currently holds an academic position as Adjunct Associate Professor in the department of Diagnostic Sciences at Tufts University, Boston and at the St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx. Dr. Chandwani underwent his dental training (DMD) at Tufts University in Boston, where he also did his post graduate fellowship training in Temporomandibular Disorders and Sleep apnea. He completed his Acupuncture training from Harvard Medical School, Boston.

    He has authored a number of publications and has presented at National conferences on Headaches and Bruxism. He incorporates mainly physical medicine approaches to managing these problems including acupuncture, trigger point needling, and stretching in addition to Oral appliances, Botox injections and nerve blocks.

    Dr. Ian Gibbs , DMD

    Dr Gibbs is double Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He works in private practice and is an Associate Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, CT. His educational credits include dental school at Temple (Kornberg) University, Graduate Practice Residency at the University of Southern California, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Howard University Hospital.

    Dr. Gibbs is disciplined in all branches of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with a concentration in Pathology, Orthognathic and Trauma surgery as well as wisdom teeth extractions, biopsies, dental implants, and sedation for anxious patients.

    He is an active member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and Connecticut Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
